Well, I must say, I like the draw this year a lot better than last spring. I'd much rather play PITT than TX. I think that PSU has a decent chance to beat PITT. I thought, (along with MANY others on the other forum), that some of the seeds were a bit off. Georgia Tech has only one good win which is against PITT, and that early in the year. Florida beat MN early in the year and that's it as far as good wins go. FL lost twice to Baylor, Stanford, KY twice. PSU beat OSU and MN, both pretty decisively. Not that I think that PSU deserves a seed. Just don't understand the logic in the NCAA committee's decision. Yeah well. It will depend on which PSU team shows up. Adanna can really go off on a team, but just sometimes. Erika had a 2-3 week period where she was playing really well. Injuries seem to have done her in. Too bad. I had high hopes for this hear. For once, , TX has a difficult regional. I've complained before that TX seemed to get a pass with their wonderful record (but who did they play?). It's ironic that this year, when they are quite good, (or at least that's my opinion ), they get a much harder road to hoe. Nebraska fans were wishing that they'd got an 11 seed instead of a 10 seed so they could be in the PITT regional. As someone said on the forum, "It's not the seed that you get that matters, it's the draw".

In 2002, Temple sent shockwave through the NCAA by beating Penn State at home in the second round. That was the last time PSU lost in the second round. I sure hope the girls know this fact, hopefully. With that said, I am confident that PSU will beat Pitt to avoid another second round lost to a Pennsylvania team, and on to Purdue!
