I was looking forward to this match and hoping that PSU could play a close match. Never expected PSU to sweep OSU.

The serve receive was much better in this match. I think they are pushing Jenna to cover more territory.
Also noticed that Gabby was quick setting Adanna and giving Erica higher slower sets.

The serve receive was much better in this match. I think they are pushing Jenna to cover more territory. Also noticed that Gabby was quick setting Adanna and giving Erica higher slower sets. I hadn't noticed the Erika sets so much but I really noticed Adanna's quick sets. |

I didn't see any of the Rutgers match, but compared to the others I have seen, this seemed to be the team's best performance. Gabby's connection with Hord was great, and she bounced a few of her swings like I haven't seen yet this season. Adanna really seemed to be hitting with a lot of power, too. She seems to hit the same sharp angle a lot, though, so some of her impressive swings were dug. Our serving and passing seemed to be much improved compared to how they looked on the trip to Oregon.
This was a fun match to watch, and I haven't been able to say that as much as I would like lately, so I was glad to have been there!

It does seem like the team is playing with more "connection" than they showed early in the year. And they are cutting down on errors (at least in the last two matches). Fingers-crossed they keep it up. |
