Nice to see the PSU hitters adjust to the MD block. And good to see PSU resilience in the to and fro of the match. There were times that I didn't want to see MD serve as the PSU serve receive was so bad.

Hoping for a speedy recovery for Tay Trammell!! She is such an important part of this team, but really impressed with Katie C for coming in and making some really nice plays!! All around some better play for the Nittany Lions, but still needing major clean on serve receive.

Nice to see the PSU hitters adjust to the MD block. And good to see PSU resilience in the to and fro of the match. There were times that I didn't want to see MD serve as the PSU serve receive was so bad. It felt like that, but Elisaia had 55 assists. IIRC this is one of her highest counts, and only 5 assists were made by others...usually there's bunches of them coming from all around. Two things usually account for that...bad serve/receive or passing; opp hitters/servers pinning Elisaia down. So it looks like PSU managed to find a way to keep her where we need her most.

It was nice to see the middles do such a good job; Allie hit 13-2-22 for .500 hitting, and Katie Clark hit 9-3-17 for .353 hitting. The OH's had more difficulty adjusting to the ferocious MD block; Kash hit 13-8-28 for .179 hitting %, Zoe hit 11-5-24 for .250 hitting %, and Markley had a lot of trouble adjusting to the block with 8-7-32, hitting .031. Interesting that Zoe did the best of the OHs. I've been impressed with her improvement over the last 3-4 weeks (of course, excluding the NEB match. ALL of the ONs in that match were negative. Tho the poor serve receive had a lot to do with that.) I was wondering why KSC didn't just replace Zoe with Katie Clark. But she obviously was more patient than I am, , and she did decently against a really good MD block. The serve receive seemed to come and go tonite which, I'm sure, lead to some not so swift hitting percentages. And although I'm complaining about the PSU serve receive, it was definitely better than hte MD serve receive; 11 PSU aces to 4 for MD. Course I know that the aces are be no means and indicator of how good or bad the serve receive is.

PSU up 12-11. Nice kill by Kash from left side. Grimes serving. MD attack goes wide for PSU pt. I thought MD was up 12-11. Maybe they were! I don't always get the scores exactly right. Only mostly right. P.S. I checked the play-by-play. It showed MD up 12-11. THere goes my perfect record for this year
