This team just lacks the termination and ferocity. They are still so talented but seem too nice. My favorite PSU volleyball memory is in the Nebraska PSU volleyball NCAA semifinal when Fawcett looks at Glass after a miss and says give me the F***N ball. We need some of that intensity. Couldn’t agree more. There is NO fire - NO drive - NO intensity. I would like to think that is a product of the the practice environment. Everything seems to be butterfly’s and gum drops. Nothing seems to get this team going. Oh you made a mistake. Smile give you a hug. Oh you didn’t terminate on a wide open shot. Oh let me pat you on the shoulder. Would love for someone to break out and hold their teammate accountable. Dangerous to make these statements when you don't know what's going on in the players heads. |
