Couldn’t agree more. There is NO fire - NO drive - NO intensity. I would like to think that is a product of the the practice environment. Everything seems to be butterfly’s and gum drops. Nothing seems to get this team going. Oh you made a mistake. Smile give you a hug. Oh you didn’t terminate on a wide open shot. Oh let me pat you on the shoulder. Would love for someone to break out and hold their teammate accountable.
Dangerous to make these statements when you don't know what's going on in the players heads.
I don't think it is dangerous. It is an outsiders observation. I think your comment is part of the issue. I think coaches have to put up with too many distractions with their players. Seems to be emphasis on instagram, NIL etc instead of the team. I am also now realizing the portal may not be the best way to build a team. Recruit and let them play together throughout their 4-5 years
