Couldn’t agree more. There is NO fire - NO drive - NO intensity. I would like to think that is a product of the the practice environment. Everything seems to be butterfly’s and gum drops. Nothing seems to get this team going. Oh you made a mistake. Smile give you a hug. Oh you didn’t terminate on a wide open shot. Oh let me pat you on the shoulder. Would love for someone to break out and hold their teammate accountable. Dangerous to make these statements when you don't know what's going on in the players heads. This was not to be a dangerous comment at all. It was a reflection of missing the Russ Ross days and the fire those girls showed day in and day out. Just like someone else here shared their Nicole Fawcett memory. It was not an indication of how hard they work — I am sure I have no idea and i am certainly not questioning their want to win. But I guess times have changed and the way things play out on the court are different. |

Nice to see PSU start out quickly and also to respond after SMU closed the score to 2 or 3 and to go on another big run. There still seem to be too many iffy sets by Mac. Serve receive by PSU still isn't that hot either.
