PUR came thru with the points when needed. PSU doesn't have anyone that can be guaranteed to put the ball down when needed. Jess is that way sometimes but not all the time. Like someone said, the PSU middle connection not good today.

Very frustrating that Penn State has no quick attack in the middle. Opponents can focus on blocking the pins.

PUR was killing themselves in the first couple of sets with errors that kept PSU close. When they cleaned those errors up, PSU couldn't keep up.

Very frustrating that Penn State has no quick attack in the middle. Opponents can focus on blocking the pins. Is that because of inadequate passing, no connection from setter to middle, or middles not quick enough to run it? |
