Agreed eb. Jocelyn seems to get better with every game. Grimes and Nathan are a formidable defensive combination. Also, great saves from Menger during those crucial final points.

Was just able to watch the match so I’m playing catch up here. So happy to see this team put it together when it matters most. After all the lack luster performances against mid and bottom tier B1G competition I didn’t think that would happen. Certainly the home court advantage was a factor and now they should have it all the way through the NCAA tournament. That is a huge advantage. Hopefully we avoid Wisconsin in the regional. Could be different if it’s in Rec Hall, but they seem to be the last hurdle we just can’t get over. Any bracketology guesses as to what our seed will be and who we might face?

I think the Selection Committee would prefer to have all of the BIG teams in the same region if they could in order to avoid having 3 B1G teams in the Final Four along with Pitt.

I think seedings (and the sheer number of B1G teams -- likely to be 9) will make that difficult. I'd guess most, if not all, regionals will have at least one or two B1G teams. No more than one won't have any. But I am no expert.

Found these highlights of CJ from last night's match. Super interesting to watch, thanks for posting. Early in the match, you can see that the MB is favoring very far over to the OH, which is leaving more opening for her to score. Later in the match, she was swinging into more double blocks but she was so dialed in that that point that she was making very confident, high IQ shots to score. Shows how important it is to have an effective RS attack to neutralize the double block motion from the MB.

Good to have a newcomer to top 4 seeds....and it's US!

Just wanted to acknowledge the players who didn't get to play last night. No starter can be great without tough teammates to practice with (and against) day after day. Every member of the Penn State team won the Big Ten Championship last night!

With Stanford closing out the regular season with wins over Georgia Tech and Louisville I think they get the 4 seed, but either way, Stanford/Louisville 4/5, Creighton/Wisconsin 6/7, Texas 8. Guessing seeding may flux up or down one spot if the committee wants to see/avoid a PSU-Wisco rematch or a Nebraska-Wisco rematch in a regional. I don’t see them allowing the top 3 B1G teams to avoid each other until the final four. Can’t wait to find out tonight!

So I bet we're the overall 3 seed, with Creighton the #2 in our region as the overall 6 seed. Just hoping we don't get Texas in our quarter. D’oh!
