last year, we were able to see ballots. I cannot see them this year. You can find the individual ballots here: www.avca.org/polls/di-women/index.htmlJust look towards the bottom portion of the left-hand side column. Click on the link labeled "poll ballots" to download a spreadsheet which contains tabs of various voters' weekly voting. You can click on the link labeled "D1 Poll Weekly" to download a spreadsheet of all the weekly polls side-by-side, so you can see a comparison of how a team has changed from week to week. For instance, Penn State has the following movement in the polls (from preseason to week 8): 9, 13, 17, 20, 18, 16, 15, 10, 9 I have inserted both those downloads for you below for this week (since I had already downloaded them).DIWPollWeekly_3.xls (30 KB) Poll-Ballots_7.xlsx (196.43 KB) FWIW, John Cook, Mick Haley, and Mary Wise have not voted at all this year. I'm sure there are others not voting this year versus previous years.

Thanks! OK, that was interesting.
Sheffield ranked us 3, ahead of WI.
I just skimmed and saw us at 1, 3, 4, 5, several 9s (including Coach, if I recall) and lots of 10s.
Dunning put Stanford at 11; they ended at 14

Notice not many PSU fans posting on VT anymore. The higher in rank PSU got, the worse it is getting noticeably the Wis and MN fans.

I think our peeps have been wonderful this year in being patient, careful in our critiques and quietly humble. The PSU fans are back and we are all just enjoy in some great volleyball and having fun. The additional stress that Minn,Nebraska and especially Wisconsin fans are putting on their team and themselves is getting heavy and can cannibalize efforts. We have some pretty educated fans who are showing their experience and patience. It is a pleasure to see. I sense fear growing in the league.

The best part about bashing your head into a wall... is when you stop. Even Rampageripster's "Hate Week" was missing something. Maybe our movement to kinder surroundings has deprived Volleytalkers of some of the hate that makes them so "special."

Woof! This is a surprise. Maybe they can underscore this by driving a stake through HATE WEEK's heart this evening.

Yeah..maybe...I agree with her evaluation but boy its uncanny how familiar her talking points are . Still think she is a closet anti-PSUite we are who we are. What was funny during the PSU-Minnesota broadcast is that several times -- i.e. more than twice -- she either (a) mixed up the names of the teams, and went on about what a great play Minnesota had made, when it was Penn State that had made the play; or (b) actually thought Minnesota had won a point (when it obviously hadn't) and, in the case I'm thinking of, didn't say a word about Penn State, but went on about what a great dig Rosado had made. It really was odd.

It really was odd. That was what made me query where she was from on volleytalk. Others mentioned it too. Even when PSU won the point, she talked about what a great job Minnesota did instead. It was weird and obvious. I think she reads volleytalk, because the next time we played and she announced, she did not do it at all. Or not, who knows?
