I have her listed at 5-10 because that was the height I saw most frequently, but lately I've been seeing 5-9. So I'll probably go to 5-9. I would blame my slacker staff, but they didn't weigh in on either height -- I couldn't find them. Whether her height will be a major factor when she plys the college is to be seen. But, I am guessing it did have some impact on her not being ranked higher I have no idea whether, with two setters (Blossom and Jonni Parker) in the 2018 class, Coach Rose will use a 6-2 going forward. But if he did, then Blossom's height (or lack of it) would be irrelevant. So, we'll see.

In a two setter system, a shorter setter could be advantageous in terms of defense.

Jonni Parker, 6-1 S/RS, checks in at #14.

According to VolleyLover on VT: "Ohio State lost 2 top 15 recruits." Ouch!!
Maybe we can pickup another outside hitter or two?
Next year's OH list is short.
Penn State's 2018 OH list - class Nia Reed - RS Jr. Clare Powers - RS Jr. Michaela Putnicki - Fr.
Lots of production lost to graduation after this season. The loss of Lee and Frantti will be felt, heavily.
Lots of middles coming in next season.

Who was the #15 rated recruit who was supposed to go to Ohio State?

Who was the #15 rated recruit who was supposed to go to Ohio State? We can't give names of non-Penn State recruits here (that' the agreement with PrepVolleyball.) She's uncommitted, but wants to stay closer to home, which isn't close to PSU.

Can we put together a list of next year's roster with their PrepVB ranks?
I know it's early for this discussion, but next year's roster will only have 3 OH's and like 5 MB's. Yikes!!

Sure, I'll work on that (but probably not until next week, so if anyone can do it sooner, have at it ). I do think the position listings for some of next year's incoming freshmen may not reflect where they will play next season. My guess (and this is totally a guess) is that at least one of the three middles will either be at RS or at OH. Plus Gorrell might move permanently to RS -- again, just a guess. And Coach Rose has said that Cami May can play all three positions up front. So we'll see. I am pretty sure they won't stick with five middles.

The #10 to #1 cohort gets posted today, probably around 6:30 p.m. Serena Gray and Kaitlyn Hord likely to be in it. Many observers think Penn State has the #1 class for 2018.
