Marquette takes set 1 from Wisconsin. Looks like Wisconsin is waking up now. Has a healthy lead 17-8 in set 2. When I see Wisconsin's court I always cringe at the way the playing floor drops off into the concrete. Worry about someone cracking their skull one of these times going after a ball. Apparently, Tionna Williams didn't start because of violation of team rules. Don't know if she played in set 2. Don't know what rule(s) she broke.

Not sure but I think this may be the most significant victory in MD WVB history I think under Aird it may be. They made the NCAA tournament in 1990 (1st rd), 1995-97 (2nd rd), 2003-05 (2n rd). Don't know who they played during those NCAA tournament matches. They have two recent and significant wins over Ohio State, beating the #12 Buckeyes in 2015 and the #19 Buckeyes in 2016. But you could still argue this is equally if not more significant, sweeping a historically strong PAC opponent.

Oregon State takes set one from Minnesota 25-19 Minnesota takes set two 25-18 Minnesota takes set three 25-22 Minnesota takes set four 25-7 and wins 3-1. MN wakes up after set 1 and it looked like they just wore down Oregon State at the end.
