#9 Kansas falls in 5 at Santa Clara #8 Creighton lost in 4 to Wichita State tonight as well ...meaning Nebraska will probably move up to #8 Not so fast Kimosabe. UNI just took down NB in 4 No way!? I'll be damned. Want some irony? (or is it pathos?) University of Northern Illinois (a UNI) just pulled ahead of Nebraska in football. |

University of Northern Illinois (a UNI) just pulled ahead of Nebraska in football. they'll be phishstixed when they come to State College next week. But, that can be an advantage to PSU if we can keep the poise and exploit their lack of it |

OMAHA, Neb. - The 10th-ranked Nebraska volleyball team had its six-match win streak snapped by Northern Iowa on Saturday afternoon at Baxter Arena. The Panthers earned their fourth victory over a top-25 opponent this season with a 3-1 (25-20, 25-23, 14-25, 25-21) win over the Huskers, who dropped to 6-3 overall.
UNI led throughout most of its first-set win and had a 10-point lead in set two before a furious Husker comeback attempt came up just short at 25-23. The Huskers dominated the third set, but the Panthers answered in set four and broke open an 18-18 tie with 7-3 run to finish the match.
Although it'll be listed as a neutral court, any court in NE is home for Huskers, IMO. Had to go look at the site to believe the reports!
