Nebraska had a shaky set 1 against Omaha and won the next two sets to sweep but in the third set, #13 Holman (MB) was injured (ankle injury) by stepping on teammate #17 Albrecht's foot when coming down. If she comes back by Friday I would be very surprised.

These were your picks, I take it? I don't think I even got most of these. It was a tough week to pick. But hope springs eternal and I'll pick again. Do you think I should pick PSU over Nebraska? And how many sets, in case it's the tie-breaker?

That FL gave up a set to Lipscomb...proof that the weather got them out of rhythm?

That FL gave up a set to Lipscomb...proof that the weather got them out of rhythm? When I hear Lipscomb, I think of a defensive end that played for the 1958 Baltimore Colts. His nickname was "Big Daddy" and he died of a heroin overdose, but I digress. Where is Lipscomb University(?)? I think they appeared in my "volleyball" consciousness two or three years ago. What conference are they in? And as long as I'm on the subject of "who's that?", what's IUPUI? IUP used to be Indiana University of Pennsylvania.... Regarding Florida? Maybe. Maybe they're not as good as I thought because Texas and Nebraska aren't as good as I'd thought. C'mon folks, Post! You aren't going to watch the lame-O NFL, are you?

Although I did give up watching football, only other sport that interests me these days is soccer.

Lipscomb University is located in Nashville, TN, affiliated with United Churches of America and competes in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Watched a bit of their match against Wisconsin and observe they are a scrappy defensive team. That likely explains them taking a set off Florida. Plus, cancelled competitions, and emotional distraction of the weather events could have affected the Florida players. It's football season?
