I remember BYU Coach Olmsted using the "we won" speech after the 2014 championship. Sorry, coach, that's not what winning is. I get her point that they made themselves proud. But losers as winners...everybody gets a trophy...
But as for the 5-8 OH, asymmetry can make a fight tougher than one would think; just as our short team (ha) v. Stan.

Yea, I remember Wisconsin doing that by giving 2nd place rings to all the players in 2013. Second place is 1st loser! Coach Cook's press conference (Monday) about last weekends and this coming weekends matches. I put on my dropbox. You can download if you want or just view on site. Coach Cooks PC on Monday

Any word or ideas on injury to Holman? She's a very solid middle that can strike fast and has great angles. Didn't realize she was injured...?

Cook say weeks. might be false news but I dont think she will play this weekend. Cook said in presser "It’s just whether she’s out a week, two weeks. That’s what it’s going to be." If it's one week, she could play against Penn State. If more than one week, she won't.

Of all the questionable things Cook has done, never seen him lie about player status.

Don't know if it's true this year, but in the recent past it seemed that an injured starter is not necessarily a blessing. Whack-a-mole isn't the right metaphor...more like those shooting targets that pop up one after another. And often it was an untested freshman...a star is born.

Of all the questionable things Cook has done, never seen him lie about player status. That being said he has not ruled her out and PSU , like any program, will plan for multiple scenarios.

Although the idea of an 'unknown, unscouted commodity' is a bit frightening. He's got a loaded bench...albeit untested, but loaded.

Anyone see the Oregon/Oregon State match? Oregon is TOUGH. Quick feet, big swings, and aggressive. OSU wasn't really even a threat. Could be this year's sleeper...
