Maryland in total collapse in set 2 loss. They had swept Ohio State earlier this season. Nice to see our girls really enjoying this 2 dominant victories so far.

Don't want to get ahead of myself, or the team, but this is the way things are "spozed to be." I agree. Call me greedy. I am still somewhat obsessed with how bad the TV scorekeeper is. I think they have a bunch of friends in the broadcast booth (I'm imagining they actually have a broadcast booth) and they are rolling joints for everyone and passing them around (to be clear, these are joints with mint and other healthful herbs in them; nothing illegal). So, understandably distracted, and not really able to focus on the match. Other than the match they use to light the non-illegal joints. On the other hand, the announcers aren't bad. After a rough start, from my perspective (they said Maryland was dominating when they won the second and third points of the match), I think they have done a pretty good job. I am uncertain whether they were correct in saying Aird had been part of five Penn State national championships. I don't remember him as the director of volleyball operations from 2007 to 2009, but maybe so. |

Aird's Wikipedia page says he was the Dir. of VB Operations from 2007-10 and asst. coach from 2012-14.
