Mrs. nyline and I agree: we don't like close sets; we like runaways. Damn right. Suspense is for rollercoasters and a**holes waiting for answers.

i think it's good for the team to have a challenge and not just blowouts.
But what set 3 showed me is that maybe Aird is misusing his players/not getting them to buy into a game plan. 0 blocks in first 2 sets did i hear? finally they start blocking.
BTW, I watched a little of the Rutgers match yesterday...they didn't look that good then either. heaven knows he's got plenty of talent on the floor. Oh, well, not my problem...

What brought MD into that set was #14 Milana's jump serve runs. She had two of them.

Next weekend should be interesting. Does the Big Ten Network ever televise volleyball?
Then again, maybe BTN2GO might be a better deal. Ms. Audrey can be a bit much at times.

12 blocks for the match. Nice. Was the stats thing working for you?

12 blocks for the match. Nice. Was the stats thing working for you? No, though it helpfully invited me to install the Hulu app. Very polite and considerate.

Haleigh had 11 kills, hit .588. Combined with 20 kills and .500 hitting last night... Who in the B1G outperformed her?

The block is coming along, they're up to 2.9/set. Hitting at .352. Good stats.

Going to 5 sets against the OSU might be a bit of a distraction, but she obviously had the best numbers this weekend.
