I'm going to miss Haleigh and her classmates. I don't think we realize how much. And I want to weigh in on the two RS Juniors -- Bryanna Weiskircher and Nia Reed. They have taken alot of criticism (particularly Bryanna, given that she has played alot more than Nia). I respect them both, and like them both as players -- flaws and all. I particularly want to say that in contrast to one post on this forum in which someone said they couldn't wait for Bryanna to graduate, I am very, very glad she is returning next season. Coach Rose could, undoubtedly, catalogue for us the ways in which he wishes she were a better player. He could, undoubtedly, do that for every player on the team this season, and probably for every player on every team he's ever coached. But I am willing to bet -- based on things he has said about Bryanna over this season, and past seasons too, that he respects her as a player and as a person. After the MSU match he gave her calm demeanor and cagey play a shout-out. He doesn't say things like that without reason. So a big "Thanks" to the seniors, and a big thanks to Bryanna and Nia -- looking forward to seeing you play next season.
