Be honest, how many people were truely confident enough to not be worried at all about this last weekend when u saw it on schedule. I said I would be happy with just a split. Taking both was def a bonus and I’m so excited. Their really should be no drama at number one position then can sit back and watch the rest of show to see where everyone else falls. I was worried at the beginning of the season. However, over the past 2 weeks I felt better, because we were playing better and both WI and MN were not.

Nice that they've interviewed Washington and Lee. PSU is lucky to have such quality women playing for them. the team is littered with them I have no doubt. The only one I ever wondered about transferred to Texas.

I became far less worried a couple of weeks ago when it became apparent that WI and MN were faltering a bit. I would have been disappointed and a little surprised if we had lost either match.

These announcers are homers. Absolutely offended by the play by play guy. He is clearly rooting for Minn.

That was the most consistently tough serving match (on both sides) I can remember. Part way thru first set we figured it out and the middles went wild.
Minn gonna be pretty impressive next year. Maybe a little green this year.

BTW where is Penn State BIG 10 trophy? Why didn't they get to hoist it at the end like Nebraska did? I know it was an away match but the winner of a normal tournament gets to hold their trophy when they win! Cross5 Edited....sorry PSU Maui - I added this...meant to quote. my bad There it is.....in the land of RED. hmmm. I have thoughts......

I remember some time ago another pretender to the crown hoisted that same trophy and also had the BIG ten player of the year and setter of the year trophy. A lot of good that did them, remember he who laughs last laughs best.

A lot of good that did them, remember he who laughs last laughs best. Let Nebraska have a cathartic moment by lifting the B1G Trophy. Your analogy to 2014 is spot on. Since 2014, I've had nothing but contempt for B1G volleyball awards. Face it, without PSU, and to a much lesser extent Nebraska, the B1G has no more credibility on the National scene than the Southeast Conference. How many B1G fans brag about the eight NCAA championships that the B1G has "earned?" I wonder if Coach Rose has ever said to his team, "Let's go out there and win another one for our beloved B1G Conference?"

couple observations on last night:
the crowd was wild; the place was packed; one would have thought: NCAA final rounds.
end of set 3, which MN won: would have thought they had won the NCAAs. Such celebration. I know it's good to celebrate; however, i think they will wish they had been more business-like. They had 2 sets more to do. That was the point where i was sure we'd outlast them.

Hey PSUMaui...who are those people in red raising our trophy?
BTW, B1G announcement on bigten.org gives their overall record, but not ours. Lol
