Michaela Putnicki's club, Colorado Juniors, is reporting that she has transferred to Wichita State. Which is where she wanted to be amd happier...closer to home. Again another former PSU who was helped to find a good fit. PSU remains a class act in this aspect.

i have a thought about 2018. i think rose retires. just a hunch. I have no idea what Coach Rose's or PSU's long term plans might be. After watching USC's cluster-thing today dumping Mick Haley, I can only hope when there is a transition that it's handled with as much dignity as possible by all parties involved.

volleyball mag... volleyballmag.com/haley-121617/btw, classy move by USC...the NCAA tournament coincides with the AVCA annual meeting, from what I can tell. Sort of like pantsing someone in the hallway. Got to say, anyone to get Lanier recruited gets huge respect from me! What if she goes with him? Not likely, but not a pretty thought.

Well, she could transfer to PSU and start another dynasty.

Mick Haley has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way over the years. I'm not terribly shocked USC got rid of him in the manner they did.

QUESTION FOR YOU PUNDITS?
WHY IS THE PLAYER OF THE YEAR CHOSEN BEFORE THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IS COMPLETE? THIS YEAR IT SEEEMS TO BE IRONIC THAT PLUMMER SHOULD BE CHOSEN GIVEN HER PERFORMANC IN KANSAS CITY: A CURIOSITY FOR ME.
NOW THE BIG QUESTION: QUESS WHERE THE NATIONAL CHAMPOIONSHIPS HAVE BEEN MOST OFTEN SINCE 2005?
OMAHA 2006, 2008, 2015 AND NOW SCHEDULED FOR 2020.
CERTAINLY THE CROWD THIS YEAR WAS OVERWHELMINGLY NEBRASKA FANS.
IS THIS A HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE? WE KNOW THAT EVERY STATISTICAL SOURCE ALWAYS GIVE SOME ADVANTAGE FOR THE HOME SITE WHEN COMTEMPLATING THE FUTURE RESULTS. HOW MUCH OF AN ADVANTAGE?
I HAVE NO IDEA BUT IT SEEMS TO HAVE SOME RELEVANCE
THERE IS NO QUESTION IN MY MIND THAT NEBRASKA WAS THE BEST OF THIS YEARS FOURSOME EVEN WHEN PSU WAS GENEROUS ERROR BOUND.

We're all pundits on the Forum 1) NPOY -- I agree, it's odd. My guess is it's a combination of logistics, and not wanting to have the NPOY come mostly from one of the two finalists; 2) I have to guess more Final Fours in Omaha than anywhere else, but IDK. I do think it is a distinct advantage for Nebraska.
