Sun was apparently visiting Nebraska this weekend. I'm going to be sick.

Could happen, but my guess (and it's purely a guess) is she goes to USC or UCLA.

Does anyone know if R.R. pursues people like this, and if he does I'am sure it is a well guarded secret.

So wait...there's a rumor that UNC's Taylor Leath is transferring to PSU? Am I late to that rumor? Rumblings on VT. Something is going on that Penn State put it on hold until they checked out another option. This might be good news or great news.

Thought the leath transfer was a done deal Have to think that sun is using one of her 5 alloted Visits to spend a weekend in happy valley
Wasn’t the rumor it was between Texas and psu When sun originally chose Texas?
Would be an awesome ending if they could fit her in

Hah! I drove through Nebraska as well about 10 years ago.
The only thing I can remember is acres and acres of endless, flat corn fields; I cannot recall anything else there.
When I graduated college 25 years ago I was offered a job in Omaha, but politely declined. I thought, "Who wants to live in the middle of nowhere?"

I spent three months in Nebraska and I found the people were pretty nice; nicer than many of the people I grew up with in Pennsylvania.
Just a different perspective.
That said, I can't imagine it's physically more attractive than Pennsylvania or California.

That said, I can't imagine it's physically more attractive than Pennsylvania or California. One other thing about my childhood Nebraska trip. My sisters and I would play a game: spot a grain elevator on the horizon, and guess how far away it was. I seem to recall you could see them more than 15 miles away in Nebraska (but Kansas was the clear winner -- something like 27 miles away). And having grown up in Central Pennsylvania, my judgment was that it wasn't a close call as to which was more attractive -- State College area the clear winner, by a wide margin.

"Corndogs, I really love corndogs. I'm a foodie, if truth be told. It's why I chose Texas in the first place -- I thought I loved jalapenos. But turns out, they were a passing fancy. So now, it's corn dogs and Huskers. Yum!"

Transfers aren't "final" until the student actually enrolls. If/when they do, we'll hear about it. I don't know when the next enrollment deadline is -- I thought it was April, but it might be in May or June (I know, not really helpful to this discussion). My point is that if, in fact, there is a transfer coming in, Penn State hasn't necessarily put anything "on hold" -- they have to wait for the person to enroll, whenever that may be. I doubt there is room for two scholarship transfers, but I am equally ignorant on that topic too. As my slacker staff is only too eager to point out.
