Illinois takes down Louisville in four. Wilma Rivera is the starting setter for Louisville. It was nice to see her playing again.

One last thought. Creighton and Pittsburgh losses point out the disadvantage of playing in a weak league. A battle tested Pac12 or B1G team has a distinct advantage over teams from a weak conference. We saw this before when Missouri, 35-0, was taken down by Purdue, who was the 6th best team in the B1G at the time. To be fair, Kentucky took down Purdue tonight, which says something about how good they are. Didn't see the match so will have to look on VolleyTalk to see what happened. I think the Pitt loss is in a different category: Pitt lost its second-best attacker (only a smidgeon behind #1) -- Kayla Lund -- during last night's match. With Kayla Lund playing, it's a different match and I think Pitt very well might have won. You're right. I didn't know that. What a tough injury to have happen as the tourney begins.

Why is a fee being charged to view the Stanford v. LMU match? No other PAC 12 Networks matches require a fee.

It is on the PAC-12 network, I'm watching it now. My understanding is that the Stanford game was televised on the west coast division of the PAC12 network. I'm in he midwest (Dish) and my version of the PAC12 network has a football game on.

Illinois takes down Louisville in four. Wilma Rivera is the starting setter for Louisville. It was nice to see her playing again. I think she was All-ACC setter last season. And Jelena Novakovic is playing well for Virginia.
