This is the beauty of the NCAA tourney...on any given night, anything can happen. All things being equal and certainly acknowledging your statement, 15 other teams dont have Russ Rose sitting on the bench managing the game. 😁 Wanted to like this more than once. Gosh darn site won't let me. : ((

We don't like facts, we only like our gut instincts here. Really, I don't have high expectations of making it out of this weekend. I'm actually more excited about the thought of picking up a transfer OH and setter this off season. There's lots of talk about potential high ranking recruits seeking new homes. While I am content to hold off thinking about next season until this fine group of ladies are finished with their season, I am wondering if we have any scholarships available for one much less two transfers.

Well, in the past we've had some surprise transfers from good players seeking more play time. I love it when the likes of Reed stick it out, waiting for their chance at greatness. But it doesn't always work out that wey.

I'm not sure, but I can hope!

It is my understanding that 4 players will be leaving us. I would guess that Bryanna and Nia are on scholarship. Possibly Taylor too. We are bringing in 3 players whom (I suspect) will use those 3 scholarships.
My quick research indicates that there are 12 scholarships available. I would guess that all 8 of our Freshmen are scholarship players, and of course Kendall and Tori, which would put us one over if my speculations are correct. So while we don't know how things are arranged (in some sports teams are allowed to split the value of one scholarship and provide partial scholarships to two or more players), I would guess that we would not have a slot available for a transfer.

I'm very near the Penn State Pep Band -- they are the loudest thing going. I would estimate the crowd is under 1,000.
