I made a mistake and brought a little too much football discussion onto volleyball threads.
Maybe we call follow issues over here without cluttering the rest of the site.

"The proof of the saying "Football is a game of inches" could not have proven more right than today's game against Iowa. Lost count on how many tipped passes Iowa had but I do remember one specifically. It was where Trace threw the ball to Gesicki and had that ball not been tipped, Gesicki had all day to run down towards end zone. And the one that was most important was Trace's last throw that was "inches" or even less than that from being tipped away from Johnson! Iowa's defense was tough tonight. Maybe Trace needs to watch "BIG" Ben and start double pumping to get those towers out of the way when he is throwing the ball! LOL!! I looked closer at that next to last play where the defensive player tipped the ball. He was clearly offsides. Had he not been offsides that ball may have been caught and contrary to popular belief (Kirk Herbstreet), #5 Hamilton wouldn't have been tackled had he caught ball since he was past the defense on his left rear and he had a blocker ready to take out the guy coming from endzone which would have given him a clear path from left to right into the endzone. I would like to see this game again now that my heart is back in my chest. LOL DVRs are one of technology's gifts to fans everywhere. and when they go belly up, you can always rely on a fan to upload to YouTube or make available for us to download!! There is a great uploader on Youtube that uploads many football games. Check them out if you want to see other games of interest. Their channel is: "CFBLights" I loving playing over and over again, the last 1:09 minutes of this game!! For those that don't have a DVR:

Context please! I had to read Psumaui's post and see the highlights to realize what you were talking about. LOL! That was one heck of an ending. Congrats to the PSU football team. They look good. I hope their defense is good enough to stay competitive. That was their weakness last year, if I recall correctly. Also, the Michigan match on 10/21/17 (at University Park, PA) will be huge.

Context:
Iowa scored with a minute-and-a-half left: Damn!
PSU scored as time ran out: No.... I'll be damned!

I just noticed that there were Penn State Police officers on the sideline. Didn't know police traveled with the team.

I just noticed that there were Penn State Police officers on the sideline. Didn't know police traveled with the team. Yeah, I noticed the one lady officer did a fist pump when PSU scored on the last (or 2nd to last) play of the game. I thought, why would an Iowa officer do that?
