2015 NCAA NATIONAL CHAMPS!!!PENN STATE WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFEATS DUKE BY A SCORE OF 1-0!!!
I'm going off the reservation a bit on this one (not VB related), although not too far from Happy Valley.
I want to send a special shout-out to the Penn State Women's Soccer Team for being chosen a # 1 seed in this year's NCAA Tournament and for winning the Big10 Conference Championship game vs Rutgers! Congratulations!
I've been a huge fan of soccer for many years, I've been following the Men's (World Cup 2014, escaped the Group of Death), Women's (won their 3rd World Cup this summer), and Youth National Teams. I've also been following the PSU women's soccer team since they made the National Championship final in 2012; unfortunately they lost 4-1 to NC. This PSU team has grown tremendously, not only over the past 2 years, but over this past season.
According to TopDrawerSoccer, the Nittany Lions have signed the #2 recruiting class in the last two years. The 2014 class featured the 2014 Big Ten Freshman of the Year Emily Ogle and Frannie Crouse, who led the Nittany Lions with 10 goals. The 2015 class features nine newcomers, including eight freshmen and one transfer.
Most of their starters are sophomore and freshmen and are all really talented. They have a really dynamic team and are exciting to watch. They have great ball movement and boast the most dangerous scoring threesome in the Big10. I can't wait for the playoff games to begin. Good luck PSU!

They are currently ranked #6 in the NSCAA Coaches poll. They had a significant victory earlier this year against #3 ranked Stanford (always nice to beat them) in Palo Alto.

Normally, all sports on College Sports Live (post season) are free. Good to know. Thanks. Also, I have noticed, if you want to watch these soccer matches, you have to do it live. Replays are not available in post season. I do plan on downloading Friday's match.
