frankly i see no evidence of that. psu has been so good for so long but they aren't magical. if they don't get it by now, why believe they will come tournament time? We have over a month left and the lineup is almost ready. Still has to figure out the lineup this late in the season?

PSU was not sharp in any facet of the game. As I said Minnesota has been playing very good volleyball with energy. Hear me folks. Loud and clear. PSU will be the better team in 3 weeks. I'm with you. Die hard fan!!!! Woooooohooooo!!!! There is one good thing that comes from a loss, per Nebraska coach Terry Pettit, the players become teachable.

It'll be interesting to see who starts at Libero the next match. I think this team might play much different with a solid libero. Sometimes one player can change a team, just like one weak link in a chain, makes the whole chain weak. Gotta see the video to get a better idea, was only listening to audio and reading everyone's posts. OR MAYBE, Minnesota is a better team than I thought. Both points are valid.

Who might be the better libero? We can be sure Kendall gave her best effort at it in the 3rd set, didn't appear to be much better at it than Keeton was tonight. Wilma is very athletic but would have to learn the position, no time for that this season. No convenient fix in sight. Our good friend Cross5's optimism noted, perhaps we should lower our expectations a bit for this season. PSU's very good parts are not making a good whole.

There aren't too many pieces to work with this late in the season. However, I see a bright future next year. Although, Courtney and Whitney will be sorely missed. We'll see how it goes. One thing is for sure, we'll all be tuning in next week.

I think what Cross5 means is that this team is still only a 3-loss team. Both WI and Stanford lost what 5-6 matches each and they are still top contenders. PSU will play better, although they might not win the NC. I'm sure most teams would prefer to avoid them come tourney time, even after the sweep by MN (including MN on a neutral court). The crowd helped MN a lot in tonight's game, you can be sure of that. I think it affected Holcomb's confidence. I still think she's a good passer, but she needs more experience. Hopefully, Kendall can carry some of that load successfully.

I wouldn't be totally surprised to see Wilma get a shot at libero.

I think we are too concentrated on the libero issue. There are more than just serve receiving that needs to improve. More than anything, I want to see the team with a business like attitude. "We are the 7 time national champions and we are here to play like one" kind of mentality is what they need to show for next couple of weeks and put a thumping on Nebraska to be ready for the tournament.

Nyline, we aren't really surprised, are we? We have seen this chaos, poor serve receive, often this year. PSU has been getting by on talent not on great team play. And now the heresy...perhaps this sophomore class is not the best recruiting class of all time. Hard to see our beloved team get swept. But it's been coming all along. This loss wasn't about the 2014 class.
