Ok, first serve in 20+ minutes. Anyone watching? Oh yeah! Really enjoying the commentator comments.

So far announcers reflecting lack of prep: Courtney was injured in the Northwestern match, which Penn State lost, showing how important she bis to her team." No. "Penn State currently is ranked #11." No. Oh, and since when is Stanford not a "quality win"? I think he said Penn State is ranked 11 but he meant Ohio State because of something else he said in the same comment. Yeah, Sunderland was getting certain historic facts wrong, but the in-game comments provided good insight.

All the PSU doubters and haters should back off for while. We just need another encore performance on Friday

I do like Sunderland but I think it is long past time he stops commentating. His mind just isn't there like it used to be. Also, he was plugging PAC12! Paul, you are commentating on a BIG 10 match, not PAC12.

Dont, let up on the gas... Let's get this over in 3. Frantti is showing her old form from last year. Yea, tonight she isn't just trying to kill the ball thru the block. She is placing/high hands on more of her shots based on blockers!

I apologize for using the forum for this, but I’m traveling this week and I cannot get game coverage. Could someone please tell me the score? Thank you.

I was pleased to hear Karch compliment Bryanna diluting perhaps the frequent less than positive comments delivered on this forum.

I was pleased to hear Karch compliment Bryanna diluting perhaps the frequent less than positive comments delivered on this forum. That was nice -- and well-deserved.

5 pm start really diminished the home court advantage. only about ~40 students at the far end of the gym; lots of volleyball clubs but a pretty sparse turnout imho. And their band (which, credit is due, sounded great) is less than half the size of PSU's fab one. To have a team ranked just out of the top10 and support it so meagerly...PSU so lucky, so supported.
for our friend 8M, hope you liked the hitting differential: .052 OSU, .349 PSU. Was that the largest of the year? 297 pts.! i think we all saw things that could stand improving, nonetheless. if their hitters get hot on Friday, watch out.
I saw much less celebrating before it was over...very determined, i thought. and Courtney looked more and more comfortable as the match went on. SO good to have her back!
PS Nia Reed has no leg brace.

Geez. Just like the Longhorn Network for Sunderland. Only one good team on the court.

PS Nia Reed has no leg brace. You win the "sharp eyes" award for spotting the no-brace Nia. (BTW, all prizes on this forum are the same: dinner with Tip and WiIlow ( as you may recall from your previous award, they like kiblets).
