So I've been watching the 1st OSU/PSU match on ESPN2 just now and although PSU won handily, they sure did miss quite a few digs.
Don't want to be picky but I'm sure when the coaches take a look at this they will point them out.
Passing in this match and the 2nd match continues to be "safe". Not sure if it's a philosophy of better safe than sorry, but it seems some of our serve receivers aren't overly concerned with passing 3's.
Haven't looked at a longitudinal study of PSU passing, but I do know they seem to always rank in the lowest of reception errors in the country.
It is a game of minimalizing your errors as Karch said.
Fortunately the Pin hitters did their job and OSU hit out so much.
So glad the team won both. Excited to see how high a level this team will go to come December.
