I'm happy for Nicole! She was on my wishlist, though. Happy for her too. Much as I respect and admire her, I don't think she would have been a good choice for head coach at PSU. |

Agreed. A few alum's have more experience than her and probably would be better, but sounds like this hire is already a D1 head coach.

It's now being said the hire is a "grand slam." Just my opinion, but that kind of hire would only be Karch Kiraly.

For me it would be demonstrated record of success as a head coach building a program to the pinnacle, with great leadership skills, great recruiting skills, great communication skills and a solid reputation for integrity and creating a family atmosphere culture with players and their families. Karch is not the only coach who would meet those criteria and who Penn State may be targeting. |

Fisher would be great, as would Adam Hughes. But it's going to be a woman ya'll. With Nicole spoken for, I'm still guessing Alyssa D'Errico. D1 HC experience for 5 years. Her team made it as far as ours this year...

Her team made it as far as ours this year... While she's a favorite of mine, she isn't a Head Coach. Been with Dayton for 5, and an associate head coach for 3 seasons. If it had been a few more years in the future I think she could get it. |
