Wasn't expecting much since Volleyballmag.com repeated the COY and POY AVCA annointed.
But, they put Holland and Williams both in the Hons.

Wasn't expecting much since Volleyballmag.com repeated the COY and POY AVCA annointed. But, they put Holland and Williams both in the Hons. It's good they both got some recognition -- should have been higher for both, IMHO (though we all know Kash had her limitations. But that arm!!!). On to next season. |

Penn State volleyball held its annual booster club banquet for the 2022 season this afternoon at the Penn Stater hotel and conference center. Booster club president George Weigand, Katie Schumacher-Cawley, Penn State president Dr. Neeli Bendapudi, and the players, including new setter Ella Snyder, gave remarks. The team was gifted Ogio travel suitcases with their numbers embroidered on them. Katie Clark won the Pops Award, while Seleisa Elisaia earned the Coach’s Award. Elisaia, Kash Williams, and Anastasiya Kudryashova were unfortunately unable to attend.

Hopefully she becomes a fan of, and advocate for, Penn State Volleyball!  Also great to hear that Ella is now with the team. Could you share what the Pops Award is for? And was there a significance to the Ogio travel suitcases? Thanks! |

A friend in attendance told me that President Bendapudi led a standing ovation for Coach Katie that lasted for several minutes, and also led three rounds of "We Are." She was a fantastic hire. Oh, and Coach Katie gave a shout-out to . . . wait for it . . . Ethan Kasales! Well-deserved, Ethan, well-deserved. |

What an incredible season this group gave us.
