Another "Bracketology" from the other forum: Bracketology 10-31-2022This predicts Penn State being seeded by 5 in the Palo Alto Regional (not overall) and playing unseeded Hawaii.

Does anyone know if the current NCAA RPI gives more weight for road wins than home wins? In some articles I'm reading a road win is weighted 1.3 and a home win is weighted 0.7. But I'm also seeing a lot of articles that say a road win and home win are still both weighted the same 1.0.

FWIW (not anything, really, other than idle talk ) with all the matches played this past weekend, Massey Ratings has Penn State rated #15: masseyratings.com/cvol/ncaa-d1/ratingsIt gives the Nittany Lions a 38% chance of beating Minnesota, a 25% chance of beating Wisconsin, a 71% chance of beating Northwestern (Massey does not, as far as I know, take into account injuries, only results, so percentage increaes, IMHO, if neither of Northwestern's setters plays, and decreases if either of them plays), and 62% chance of beating Purdue at home. That's about the same % chance Purdue had of beating Penn State at home Saturday night. It's distinctly less than 100%.
