OK, I will jump on the bandwagon. Stanford is bad. Pac-12 is bad. B1G is the greatest. Plummer is all Stanford has and she is not "nearly as effective" as she use to be. I don't think any of the previous posters think Stanford or the PAC are bad. But they are pointing out that it's a down year for the PAC, and, in some respects (compared to last season) for Stanford. I haven't watched Stanford this season except at Illinois (and followed the Texas match through stats), In those matches, they clearly missed Inky (duh ), relied heavily on Plummer, and didn't look as good as last season. Of course, anyone only watching Penn State against Nebraska would say we aren't very good. I believe Stanford has only lost two sets since last losing to Penn State. I think if the question being answered here were "Do you think Stanford could ( not will, but could) win the NCAA title this year, most people would answer yes. Stanford unquestionably is relevant in the NCAA conversation, IMHO. And Plummer' is a spectacular player. I do think that this season the B1G clearly is the top conference, and the PAC is down.

Just for the record, the Card escaped Boulder, CO with their lives 3-2 and in LA lost 1 set each to UCLA and USC. At home, their VERY at home.
