How does Lexi Sun not make this list?

Just to show how fair and balanced we are here at the Forum, what percent chance do you think that we lose at least one of those first 5 matches of the season, all of them being at home? I think there's close to a 50% chance of that. Coach has to do a lot of experimenting to determine our best players for the balance of the season. I don't know about the first five matches, but I could see them losing three of the second five. Texas A&M gave Penn State a very tough time last year-though I recall that there were extenuating factors. I also remember that A&M had two players who were very impressive in that match. I would guess that, of the first 5 matches, A&M will be the most interesting.

Lexi Sun is now B1GGER than every team, possibly.

Yes, if I recall correctly Hollann Hans (OH) had a record match against us. Also, their freshman setter, Camille Conner, had a record night dumping the ball over on two.
Not sure history will repeat itself here, especially since they have a new coach to boot.

Lexi Sun is now B1GGER than every team, possibly. This may just be me, but I’m not worried AT ALL about Lexi Sun being on the cornhuskers. She’s a good player, and will definitely challenge the Penn State defense, but does not have many shots. Definitely a weaker player then people like Lexi Hart and Mikaela Foecke. At Texas she was always outshined by Micaya White.

😆 Lexi is not the singular concern. PSU must play cohesively sooner than later to realize success. That, IMO, is Nebraska’s advantage in the recent past.

I wasn’t saying that Lexi was the only thing I was worried about this season. Definitely not. I agree though, the new players and old players need to figure out how to play together quickly.

So you are projecting Penn State as third or fourth in the BiG? Or is this poll a demonstration of where knowledgeable folks think the teams are now?
I think as a preseason poll, yes. PSU lost a lot of production to graduation.
However, by the end of the season, I could see us getting better.
I don't think Nebraska will win it all or be as good as most others are prediction.
Besides Stanford 2 years ago, when was the last time a freshman setter won the national championship?
I am puzzled by your comments regarding Nebraska since they have consistently had highly rated for the past few years and have blended in the new players with the returning veterans. Perhaps you know something I don't?

Because Nebraska has a freshman setter and it's extremely difficult and rare for freshmen setters to win it all; statistically speaking.

Does anyone know anything about media coverage of upcoming matches? Audio and video coverage is important to those of us who are far away.

I am planning to subscribe online to BTN+. There is a BTN disclaimer for online subscriptions for BTN+.
“Please be aware that BTN Plus Subscriptions will NOT include access to Big Ten Football games or any other televised B1G games or events (on BTN, ESPN, FOX, etc.).”
Will the first three matches be televised or are they only online?
