I think BYU was the craziest of all the Regional venues.

BYU completes sweep, 25-21. First two sets were both 25-23 BYU victories.

BYU was down 2 & 3 points in all of the sets, but always came back. I got the impression that at 20-20, BYU would win. BYU handled the last 5 points better than Texas did. Texas's serve/receive was decent most of the night, but when under pressure didn't do very well. I was also unimpressed with Texas' coverage of blocks. When Texas was blocked, the vast majority of the balls just hit the floor. Hardly ever saw someone behind the hitters looking to get the ball up when blocked. Not impressed with Elliott's coaching. Then again, I wouldn't be the first.

Looks like BYU thinks they're Stanford; dancing after a win

If I recall in 2014, TX played BYU in the semis, and I was all interested in seeing the impressive Longhorns put on a show. They didn't. One of their stars had a really off night or the game plan sucked. Maybe both. BYU sure knows how to put TX in their rearview mirror.
