On a side note: Pennsylvania had 63 total athletes qualify for the tournament; which was the most of any state.

Regarding Cael and Russ and their situations please remember that PSU has a very long wrestling history.
Women's volleyball does not.
PA supplies almost no player to the D! college ranks or if they do it is a very infrequent event.
Wrestling on the other hand FINDS PA AS THE MOTHER LODE.
WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL BEGAN IN THE LATE 70'S AND WAS A VERY PROMINENT MEMBER OF THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP SCENE IN THE 90'S.
