Nevills wrestles but loses by 1 point. Not bad for 1st match against a ranked opponent. Jimmy's guy just road his legs and never tried to improve his position by trying to get Jimmy on his back. Nickal looked gassed at end of his match. Maybe sick?

Zain didn't look quite himself, and Nolf looked off in the third period of his match.

She'll be fine. Better, even. This is all a bit cryptic (and buried on an odd thread). Any details?

Tough match-ups and likely will have a closer result than if we had caught NC State. I remember seeing Oklahoma State at Rec Hall in the '70s. Instead of the team running on to thee mat in standard warmup pants and jackets, they walked out very slowly, all wearing heavy red robes, like boxers. Actually, having in my mind's eye red robes, forget the preceding--it must have been Oklahoma. Anyway, they thumped us pretty handily.

I see 141, 165 and Hwt going Okie's way, with 184 a toss up (but a PSU lean). The rest are PSU, with 3 or 4 bonus point bouts. 28-10 good guys.

Latest gossip has Crutchmer out (possibly for season - ugh!), and Smith now doubtful for Sunday. Beginning to look like PSU in a rout. Real shame for them both.

Latest gossip has Crutchmer out (possibly for season - ugh!), and Smith now doubtful for Sunday. Beginning to look like PSU in a rout. Real shame for them both. Wasn't too worried about Crutchmer at 174, nor Smith at 157. Nolf had Smith in the Southern Scuffle the entire match. Smith didn't try 1 offensive move until 3rd period and was almost pinned at end of match. As for Crutchmer, he was beaten by #2 Ramos (North Carolina) in the Southern Scuffle in Semi's and Nickal dominated Ramos in the final there. Ramos got all but 2 of his points with escapes. The big advantage we will have in those two matches will be bonus points! My prediction in those two matches should Smith and Crutchmer be out will be either TF's or Fall's.
