and at the same level as Quillico, Fatima Balza transferred to PSU in 2009 from Western Nebraska for her final 2 years. i recall her being a critical force in 2010 championship win. She didn't always start but Rose often put her in and she never seemed to disappoint him. BTW, i've wanted to share this all season: Creighton's Jaeli Winters is my dream transfer. 4.04 K/set; 2.4 digs/set. First saw her play v KS St where she had about 26 Kills. Of course, now that Creighton is doing so well in the RPI, there would be less reason for her to leave.... and i have no evidence she's ever considered doing so. just thinking that another conference would present a bigger better stage. I wonder how good Winters' numbers would be against better opponents. Curious to see how she does in the tourney. What class is she?

By the way, i guess Creighton can't be a Cinderella because they're seeded...

Regarding Balza, the last game she played in the drive to the 2010 Championship was against Duke in the Regional Final. She did not play at all in the Final Four. I just went back and checked the box scores. Sorry to be so persnickety about something five years ago. Ironically (?), PSU had 26 wins and five losses going into the 2010 Tournament.

Did I mention there aren't many... .. in my neighborhood? People blame the coyotes.

Give me some good old fashioned tea leaves any day. If nothing else, you've got caffeine.

Oh yes, and they can never be domesticated. People have tried raising them from babies and when they reach a certain age, they just flip and bite their owners. Crazy animals.
