Here is the link to the Pan Am Cup page on NORCECA's site. There are links to all the live results but I have no yet found links to live video feeds. If anyone has links to live video feeds, please post here. USA's first match will be at 5pm (-5 GMT) on June 17. The opponent will be Venezuela. NORCECA Pan Am Cup 2017Video Update: It appears FLOVolleyball owns the streaming rights to the tournament and can be seen only by subscribing for a monthly or yearly fee. I'm sure someone will pirate the feed though and that link will be posted on Volleytalk, as usual.

I believe there are links to NORCECA live feeds on Volleytalk. It's about half the price of FLOVOLLEYBALL. But, the instructions are in Spanish and I fear the broadcast might be, as well.

Not watching, apparently lots of technical problems. Micha started out with 7 aces. I didn't know Binghamton was a country.

I guess she finished with at least 10 aces.
Update: Make that 11. And she shared time with WFS.

CAÑETE, Peru, June 17, 2017 – United States displayed a lot of serving power to beat Venezuela 3-0 (25-9, 25-16, 25-11) in the second match of Pool A of the XVI Pan American Cup by Movistar at Lolo Fernandez Coliseum in Cañete on Saturday. USA secured the dominating victory carried by their best offensive weapon the captain and setter Micha Hancock who had 13 points. The team of Karch Kiraly had a wide margin in all facets of the game leading in attacks (32-17), blocking (13-5) and aces (15-2). They only made 12 unforced errors to 15 by the losing side. USA will play against Colombia on Sunday while Venezuela will look for the victory against Argentina. Karch Kiraly (Coach of USA): “Our work has been consistent and that is the reason for the clear victory today. We have worked with the players in the physical and mental part of the game and focusing on success to make volleyball a profession to depend from” Micha Hancock (Captain of USA): “We are very happy with the result and the victory is the result of a team effort. I am grateful of my teammates for their effort on the court.” Jhosvany Chambers (Coach of Venezuela): “There are many things to analyze. I think the team was under pressure facing a team with a long tradition and history like United States. I hope they can play more relaxed in the upcoming matches and can show their level of game.” Desiree Glod (Captain of Venezuela): “We know about the supremacy of United States and I think we entered the court a little bit pressed and nervous. We have a very short period of time training together and we can play better. We are going to improve and reduce the mistakes because we are preparing for the Grand Prix next month at home.”

Thanks for bringing this to us.
Nice to see Micha staying classy and crediting the team. When she's on like she apparently was, her serve is a shock weapon, like an artillery bombardment. Its impact always seems to be minimized by Volleytalk's cognoscenti. It won't always work, but it does create stress which I believe is a plus for us.

But her quote looks almost like it was translated from English to Spanish and back to English. Doesn't sound quite authentic.
I see tonight's match v PR is available 'gratis.'

United States win over fighting Colombia CAÑETE, Peru, June 18, 2017 – United States once again showed superiority as they defeated a fighting Colombia in straight sets 3-0 (25-9, 25-19, 29-27) in Pool A of the XVI Women’s Volleyball Pan American Cup by Movistar at Lolo Fernandez Coliseum in Cañete on Sunday. Once again the captain of USA Micha Hancock was the key player in the American victory with her fast tempo as setter and her terrific serves. Micha Hancock, Captain of United States: “Today’s match has allowed us to know each other better. We have been working in our service game and the score was close because we failed in little things. But those are details that we will fix out to keep growing.” Maria Alejandra Marin, Captain of Colombia: “We played better today. Different to yesterday we were more disciplined. In the last set we made some mistakes but we are a young team and we need to learn how to control the game. We will continue learning and giving our best in the next matches.” Karch Kiraly, Coach of United States: “I liked the fight Colombia put today. That made us to give a better effort. The match was interesting and we rotated our players because we feel good with anybody on the court. This competition gives us the chance to see the development of different players.” Antonio Rizola, Coach of Colombia: “Today we showed that we are in a growing process and that we are in the process of changes, in the physical structure and the technical execution. Today I am leaving satisfied because the team played with discipline and no fear of losing.”

this is part of a score sheet from the Colombia match. Only Courtney and Benson ended up with positive numbers. She only started set 3.
RkNoName Excellents Faults ServeReceptions TotalAttempts Note 1 17 Courtney Megan (WS) 5 - 8 13 38.46 2 20 Benson Amanda (L) 2 1 11 14 7.14 I am assuming the excellents are equivalent to how coaches score passes as 1, 2, or 3s.
Also, it looks like Micha was the top scorer even though they did not start her in set 3 (they subbed her in for part of set 3). Interesting that set 3 was the one that nearly got away.

I think Micha is the Rodney Dangerfield of Women's Volleyball, she gets no respect. Her contributions are routinely minimized on Volleytalk. It's a wonder she's accomplished what she has.

Karch gave her praises when she was at Penn State. I'm sure he doesn't take her for granted! From what I heard, Karch is mixing and matching all the players to see what works best during the Pan Am Cup. He doesn't have a set starting team yet. I do love it that Micha is Carlini's Captain! I wish you could have seen Micha's 7 ace run. Just the look on the Venezuela players faces after each ace was priceless! They kept looking at each other with a puzzled, maybe stunned is a better word, look on their faces.

There are some vocal "empty" rain barrels who just cant appreciate her infectious will to win and outstanding athleticism. The Collegiate Tag thing hangs over people way too long even when kids don the USA uniform. Its unfortunate. I can see her making the Tokyo roster for 2 reasons.

Just got an answer on FlowVolleyball. For those that haven't been able to watch these matches. They will be available on replay 2-3 days after the match on flowvolleyball.com. Don't know if they are free or not. If not, I will download them and then put on my dropbox for anybody that wants to download them. I can't put them on YT because last time I did that with the wrestling tournament, flow got my YT wrestling channel suspended. Will post links as I upload them. None of the commentators for the matches are speaking in English.

We've missed you.
