Mission accomplished for coach Rose. i think he wanted to play as many new faces as possible to get their feet wet. There will be some struggles along the way, but having the freshmen to experience the college game atmosphere early in the season was very important to these 3 games. Game by game, they'll improve and adjust. Taylor Leath showed why she was one of nation's best player for last couple of years. Looking forward to next challenges

She's not on the roster and wasn't at any of the matches. Beyond that, there's no information available.

Odd because she was at camp this summer and still has it on her social media. Hope everything is ok. Best to her.

Setters are all predictable many times in each match. It is the nature of the reception delivery and what is possible

Larry is deserving of more than a "he coached division 3" He was outstanding winning so many chanpionships Good point and certainly, Larry is one of the greats, no question. In fairness to the Slacker Staff, the complete quote was "We would have been treated to two coaches with a combined 2,596 wins (Larry Bock with 1,348 wins as a women's volleyball coach, and Russ Rose with 1248 wins through 11:30 a.m. today). That would almost certainly be a record that would stand for a very, very, very long time." The focus of the quote was about the number of wins, not the number of championships. Slacker Staff took off for parts unknown before anyone could get them to research Larry's complete bio for championships won.

Nyline and all others: the Internet, created 27 years ago this week, is available to people who want details on Bock who was commented on weeks ago on this site, BTW, when the Navy match was first discussed. There is no need for Nyline to be the source for everything; people wanted to know how the winningest coach in D1 could have been surpassed; it's because Bock was the winningest in NCAA WVB. Apples compared to Apples+oranges. (So right, would have been such a cool, historic night! and clearly they were close as colleagues, w/the two running the camps at Juniata for many years. Bock had told Navy fans his big plan for retirement was watching WVB in PA...wondered if he might have been on hand last night...)
I vote for people appreciating all you DO do for us!

I just think that when the setter has all her options against better blocking teams she needs to conceal her sets better or the team's efficiency will drop way down.
Either that or we need to run a faster offense, which I don't believe coach will do (especially with so many freshmen playing).
I'm dying to see how we do against Texas A&M next weekend and especially during the Big Ten / Pac 12 Challenge in 2 weeks.
That is when we will get a good idea of where the team stands.

Ohio State swept A&M this weekend in Columbus, for what that's worth.
