I read somewhere that one of the best diagnostics for over-the-top fandom is..... Field Hockey. My sister played field hockey. Love to watch it when I can. Now if I start watching college golf, then it's time to put me out to pasture. LOL! OK, I shoulda put in the family disclaimer. At least you didn't try the "I'm from South Asia and men should play too" excuse. |

Penn State wins on Friday 1-0 against Iowa. Next up Sunday is Nebraska. Maybe our Soccer ladies can get some revenge for our Volleyball team!  |

This will end up being postponed or cancelled. I don't think they played enough minutes to count as a win. If they would've played into midway through the 2nd half then, I think, it would count. |

In the meantime the rest of the matches have been long over - Ohio State defeats Iowa 2-0 Northwestern defeats Maryland 2-0 Rutgers wins in OT against Illini 2-1 Minnesota blows out Michigan State 7-1 Michigan wins in OT against Wisconsin 2-1 Looks like they are going to try to finish this match!! Players are coming back on the field! After all that waiting for the match to resume, we end up with a "sister kisser" 1-1 |

Ohio State gets the only goal of the match mid way thru the 2nd half and beats Penn State 1-0.

Ohio State gets the only goal of the match mid way thru the 2nd half and beats Penn State 1-0. Another bummer loss. RPI is getting worse, and it wasn't good to begin with this year. They really needed to be winning or ending in ties in the conference. |

Since the soccer game was going on same time as volleyball, didn't get to see but we won 2-0 against Michigan! We also defeated Ohio State in Women's Field Hockey 3-0. (before the match I was hoping that we did same with volleyball).

Another "sister-kisser" for team Penn State. This time against Rutgers 0-0. They have a match against Maryland on Sunday. Let's hope that they don't kiss that sister for a third time this season!

It appears that the BiG has an 8 team tournament. I assume it is single elimination.
We are presently in 2nd place one point behind Ohio State. Purdue and Wisconsin look to be in the middle of the pack, meaning both are at risk of not finishing in the top 8.
