#2 seed Northwestern defeats #3 Wisconsin in 2OT. Going into 2nd OT teams were tied 1 apiece. Northwestern scores goal with 5:43 left. Penn State will be playing Northwestern on Sunday at 2:00pm ET for the BIG 10 Championship! Penn State won the regular season match-up with NW by a score of 3-0 at Jeffery Field! BTN2GO has NW playing Ohio State instead of Penn State so I guess they were expecting Ohio State to beat Penn State or maybe just an error. Also on Sunday at 12:00pm (noon) - (remember to turn your clocks back an hour on Saturday night before you go to bed) the Penn State women's field hockey will be playing for the BIG 10 Championship against top seed Michigan. Back to back BIG 10 Championships on BTN TV! Would love to see us bring home two Championship trophies on Sunday! They had to finish match indoors due to the weather. PENN STATE WINS 2-1 to take the BIG 10 CHAMPIONSHIP!! I'm not holding my breath but I hope they will have a replay available later on video. Too bad we may never see the end of this match! We can hope! If they do have it available, I will upload to YT and give link here. Either way, we should get a good seed in NCAA tournament as an automatic bid! link |

Do you have a full match video of the Big Ten Final (PSU vs. NW) ? I don't know if they recorded the 2nd half. I only saw the 1st part that was outside. I didn't see it yesterday online anywhere on BTN2GO. I know they didn't stream the 2nd half live. |

Penn State gets a #3 seed and would be in the same bracket quadrant as #2 West Virginia and Rutgers.
The good thing is that Rutgers and West Viriginia would potentially face off against each other before have to potentially play against PSU.
