PSU the highest seeded from the BiG? I suppose a reward for winning the tourney and having a killer pre conference schedule.

Penn State vs Stony BrookPenn State wins 4-0; I mean 7-0 against Stony Brook! Stony Brook had ZERO shots period in 1st half and 3 shots on goal in 2nd half after Penn State put in subs the rest of match. No time kept on screen and person running camera needs some work keeping camera on ball. Missed a great 35 foot shot on goal that just missed (according to people calling match). On another note, Wake Forest and Georgetown went to penalty kicks with Wake Forest winning. Penn State will play them next Friday in round 2! For those that didn't get a chance to watch this match, will up to Youtube and give link here.

They looked pretty good with Frannie Crouse playing again Laura Freigang had a hat trick!

Yep, so am I!!!
Penn State defeats Wake Forest 2-0 with both goals coming in the 2nd half. Goal scorers: Ortega-Jurado 59' and Freigang 66' (PSU's 2 German nationals)
Stat Comparison WF - PSU Shots 15 - 7 Shots on Goal 5 - 3 Saves 1 - 5 Corner Kicks 2 - 2
Stats favored Wake Forest, but PSU's depth outlasted a hard working WF team. At least this match didn't go to PK's. Phew!!
Upsets thus far today: Baylor defeats USC (last year's national champs) in PK's Washington St. (their 2nd upset) defeats Tennessee in PK's

Rutgers vs West Virginia playing in the evening and having to go into double OT is really good for Penn State.
EDIT: And the winner is West Virginia over Rutgers, 4-3 in PK's.
I was hoping Rutgers would win so we don't have to play WVU at home.
