Good for her. Sounds like a really good gig for both her and her husband.

And a tremendous feeder program for UT volleyball. I would not be surprised if Elliott had a defacto office in the complex. Of course Salima would not have any say on that.

She had to give up a great deal of money in making this decision. I am sure she was making a good salary at Penn State and could have made much more taking a head college coaching job. Money isn't everything but it helps. Who knows? Maybe in a few years she will be coaching back at the college level.

How about this. Dennis moving up to associate, have carp come in as assistant and bring Prichard with her from Maryland.

Just trying to find every possible way to get outside. I hear you. I too am hoping we get a proven OH before the start of the 2018 season.

In coaching-related news, Arielle Wilson joined Michigan State as a Volunteer Assistant Coach. Thanks Volleytalk.

Good luck to her (except I don't want the Spartans to perform well against Penn State )

Texas doesn't play by the same rules or standards as the rest of the country. Let me give you an example. Basketball has the same scholarship rules as volleyball at D-1 colleges yet Texas has found a way to get eleven MacDonald's All-American players plus two foreign players on their 16 player squad. How is that even possible? These players aren't going to pay to attend a college and play their sport. In Texas money has never in short supply for most sports and the sporting facilities there are excellent. Salima will be a millionaire soon if she has not already past that milestone. Not that I can blame Salima for the opportunities made available to her. I would have done the same thing if I were in her shoes.
